CELEBRATE THE EVERYDAY TN TITLE PAGEI wanted to make a title page for my travelers notebook and since it’s about everyday things in my life I wanted it to say “Celebrate The Everyday”. First I went to Paige Taylor Evans’ Etsy store and bought this “CELEBRATE” title, and since I subscribe to her newsletter I got it at 50% off 👏🏻🙌🏻 I then used some Close To My Heart pink ink to distress the white paper I was gonna cut it from and then I cut it out with my Cricut. I chose a black and white striped paper from my Elizabeth Felicity Jane kit and cut that to size. I chose a beautiful mosaic sheet of paper from the Truly Grateful collection from Paige Taylor Evans that I received in my August Hip Kit, and started backing my cut file with my Close To My Heart glue pen 😊 When my cut file was fully backed I attached it to my page with my Tombow double sided dots tape runner. I have some little type alphabet that I used to complete my title and that’s when the fun began! I got out all my little sequins (the majority of which I get from SpiegelMom Scraps) and started my search to match up with my letters. And here is the final result ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🖤 I hope you have had fun reading this tutorial and it inspires you to make an awesome title page for your book! Do You Use The Project Life App?I like to do pocket pages to mix up my scrapbook and keep it different. I also like to get my pictures printed from Shutterfly since 4x6 pics are free, I just have to pay for shipping. However, anyone who scraps pocket pages know, you should be using 3x4 photos too, and Shutterfly doesn’t print 3x4 photos. This bothered me for a long time and I finally found the Project Life App to help me out on this problem. So here is a little tutorial to get you some 3x4 photos from the Project Life App. The pictures below is what you will see when you open the app. Once here you will tap the orange section to start. After clicking the orange section you will come to a screen with a green and orange rectangle. This is your 4x6. You will tap on the green side and then click on the little picture box in the corner. It will take you to the screen to select your album then you can choose the picture. Once you are done selecting your picture you can then tap the orange area to select that picture as well. See the pics below. When you’re done choosing pictures on both sides just tap the grey area and you will get back to you’re new 4x6. To save it to your photos you have to tap the export button in the lower right corner, then tap “Export” in the list that comes up, finally you can tap “Save Image” and the image is now in your album ready to order from Shutterfly or where ever you order from. So if you want to make 2 horizontal 3x4 pictures you will tap on the button in the upper left corner. Then find the vertical 4x6 selection and tap on that. Just follow the same instructions above to make those 3x4 pics. I hope this post helps expand your photo options. If you would like to see something else featured in the blog please just let me know :)

Shaker ElementHello all! I am currently working on a mini album of a snow play trip we took in January. I wanted to put all kinds of different elements into it so I thought it would be a perfect time to add a shaker box. So first off I decided to use a snowflake cut file from The Cut Shoppe for this element and the first thing I did was cut some of the inside elements out to make the visible area bigger. Then I glued a piece of scrap page cover to the snowflake. I glued a bigger piece and once it was dry I then cut it down to just my shaker area. I then cut my foam dots in half to box it in.
So my snowflake is ready for my dodads! First I placed my snowflake on top of where I wanted it and took a mental note of where the shaker part would be. Then I placed a little pile of sequins and confetti where it will go.
I then pulled all those little backings off my foam dots and placed my snowflake where is supposed to go and viola, I had a beautiful little shaker snowflake! I hope you enjoyed this tutorial, please let me know in the comments if there is something you would like to learn for scrapbooking!
